We figured the drive through would be fast, boy were we wrong. They kept us waiting for 20 minutes before they took out order. And got a few things wrong so I had to go in anyway.
Apparently the guy handling the drive through was in training, but 20 minutes? This place needs better management.
Its fast food. I don't eat it often but I usually prefer Wendy's over the rest because it just tastes different. This location is slow which is very true. I waited a long time for my food
Yup. It's a Wendy's. Omg spicy chicken sandwich! Nom nom nom.
The line is kinda long on weekdays during the lunch rush. Oh well. Sometimes they run out of ketchup and it takes forever to change the bag. They give me ketchup packets and I hate them. Oh well. There are sometimes little Chinese women walking around the tables trying to sell DVD's. Oh well. I know all this going in, because let's face it, yup, it's a Wendy's.
INSANELY slow, not just for my order, but we were having a meeting there and for the next HOUR, it continued to be slow. The spicy nuggets were also cooked dry.
It should've came with a side of fail sauce.
Its true what everyone says this location seems a lot slower than the others but the service its always good and the food fresh. I come here often since its in my neighborhood and I love their chili and chicken nuggets.
I don't usually write about fast food chains but today's experience called for it.
This was my first time venturing in here even though I always walk by and am tempted by their cheap deluxe value meal.
Anyway, first impressions: the place was very clean and had a lot of sitting space. They have a large flat screen tv in front which was playing Law & Order on TNT (i LOVE Law & Order so it was pleasant being able to watch it while in line).
Here's where I get to why I felt a need a write a review. I actually received GREAT customer service. The workers were police and cheerful. When one asked me what sauce I wanted I say sweet & sour with her replying, "I love sweet & sour." She noticed I was carrying a shopping bag so she put the generic paper take-out bag in a plastic Wendy's bag with handles to make it easier for me to carry home. How thoughtful! Then it ended with what appeared like a genuine smile and a Have a Nice Day. Couldn't ask for better service for a fast food joint.
Perhaps I lucked out.
I came here today because I was craving some chicken nuggets. I know, fast food isn't good for you, but I couldn't help myself. It was late and I was hungry! Anyways, I used the drive thru. The wait was so long, which pretty much defeated the purpose of "fast food." I swear I waited at least 7 minutes to place my order and then about 10 minutes for my order to arrive. I think I'm not very patient when I'm hungry. In fact, I get very grumpy. 🙁 Anyways, at least my chicken nuggets were fresh! Overall, I would come back here again, but only if the line moved faster. Also, I noticed that (I guess to compete with McDonalds), Wendy's offers 99 cent coffee (hot or iced).
