  1. I'm kind of obsessed with Westville, in the sense that I come here every week, I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. Westville just take all of my money!! The menu is great and reasonably priced, they have a good mixture of things for anyone with any form of allergy or dietary need and it's good healthy food. All things that are very important in today societies. You can mix and match market veggies with most entrees which is a great way to give a customer exactly what they want. I typically get the grilled salmon salad or the fish and chips. Both are very tasty and are nice size portions. My bf tends to get the chicken cutlet or the steak, those are tasty as well. Besides having great food the drinks that are reasonably priced they have some interesting mixed drinks, the frozen mint lemonade with prosecco is excellent and only ten bucks! Beers are around 6 or 7 and wine is around 10. The only negative thing about this place is that it's tiny!! I mean really tiny, I try to avoid using the bathroom unless  I'm about to leave because if it's crowded which it often is it's a challenge to get up and sit back down depending on where you are sitting. Besides that I enjoy the décor it's a mixture of whites and greens and looks very fresh.

  2. Delicious, wholesome, and affordable brunch! Space is kind of tight but the wait is worth it.

Westville's menu offers a wide selection of yummy entrees and their famous market sides.

My friends and I ordered the fried eggs over turkey hash, 4 market sides, and the cauliflower bowl. Oh my goodness that turkey has was AMAZING. Reminds me of the sausage gravy at Jacob's Pickles. So ridiculously flavorful. It was balanced out nicely by the huge place of market sides we got – beets, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and sweet potato mash. My friend also loved her cauliflower bowl, which was tasty and also generous in size.

Everything was really delicious and we felt satisfied but not stuffed afterwards. It was also super well-priced! The egg dish was only $10 and the market sides $15 total.

Loved it and will return soon!!

  3. I've been to Westville a number of times in their various locations and my experiences recently at the East Village location have been excellent! I went with a friend for dinner around 7pm on a Saturday night. We thought we'd have to wait for quite some time, but we were lucky enough to walk right in and get seated immediately. It seemed that there was a bit of a wait for parties larger than 2. I also went with my mom a week after and we were seated immediately on a Sunday night around 7pm.

After being seated our waitress was very friendly and gave us some time to look over the menu. My friend had noticed there was the option to order a side of steak or add it to a market plate. This option was amazing! My friend and I each ordered our own side order of steak, which was a generous sized portion and cooked perfectly! It was very very delicious. We then ordered the Market Plate of veggies (comes with 4 of your choice) and we each chose 2 that we liked and shared that. My favorite veggies are the roasted brussel sprouts or the zucchini with cheese & tomato. When I came back with my mom we ordered the same way, but she had the side order of salmon. I tried her salmon and it was delicious!

Westville is healthy, reasonable and has so many tasty options!

  4. I came here with friends late on a Friday night looking for some grub. I had seen the menu online and I liked that there was just about something for everyone. To our surprise, we managed to get a table for six within 10 minutes. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I got the grilled marinated chicken with parmesan asparagus and broccoli. It was very good, and I particularly liked the seasoning of the chicken. The only thing is that the price was a bit much compared to other places serving similar items (hence, why I'm giving it 3 stars). Even my friends got sandwiches and burgers and mentioned that the price was higher than they were expecting. That being said, none of us were disappointed with our meals and all left happy. Their desserts look amazing though so I might come back for that at some point but probably wouldn't come back for dinner unless all cheaper options were closed.

  5. If you are looking for a healthy meal, look no further! The market veggies here are a great light option for a pre or post workout session. The market plate is more than enough for 2 to share.

Artichokes with parmesan- Some pieces of artichoke were too dry while other pieces were perfect.
Brussel sprouts with honey dijon- This was definitely my favorite market side. I love the honey dijon sauce!
Cauliflower- Cooked perfectly and paired with a great sauce.
Mixed Mushrooms with leeks and herbs- This was my least favorite market side. It didn't shine as much as the others.
Side of Salmon- A generous portion of a salmon fillet grilled to perfect. Not overly dry and held its juices just right.

I would definitely recommend getting the brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and salmon!

  6. Wonderful spot down in the east village. I have only been to this location but I hear that all of their locations are just as good. Cute little restaurant, with a clean white feel.

The food was great. The service was great. They have a few tables outside which are perfect on a summer afternoon for lunch. It can get a little crowded so i recommend going at on off hour. (late lunhc, early dinner).

I had the chicken burger, which i highly recommend. The salads looked phenomenal as well. Sweet potatoes fries were delicious.

Great staple in the area. Good for small groups and couples.

  7. I met a friend for lunch with my fifteen year old son (with skateboard) in tow.  We got a sweet table outside and it was a beautiful day, the kind of day when the city redeems itself for all of the things it's done wrong in the past (traffic, rats etc…).  The problem was that there was construction going on right on the corner and it was INSANELY noisy!!!  The poor staff at Westville (and all of the other businesses in the area) have absolutely no control over this and it is really, really bad.
We ordered a fritatta on a bed of greens, a burger and some broiled salmon with brussel sprouts and sweet potato tots (yes, you heard that right, sweet-potato-tots).  The food was really good across the board.  My eggs were well cooked, my son loved the burger, my friend loved her dish and we ALL loved the tots.
We were able to communicate with a combination of shouting and hand gestures.  While we were there, the very, very sad news of Prince's untimely death started buzzing on everyone's phones.  in a way, that sometimes can only happen in the city, we began talking to our waitress and the people sitting around us about Prince, what he meant to us and how shocking it all seemed.  Because of the cement mixer about 15 feet away though, we had to do this with a combination of shouting and hand gestures.  How sad!
Overall, I loved Westville and would definitely go back…once the construction is finished.  I feel really bad for the easy staff there trying to smile through what must be a daily cross to bear.  I hope, for their sake, that it is all over really soon!

  8. Food was delicious.  Outstanding mac & cheese.  Also their mashed potatoes were killer!  Neither of which are healthy, but there are plenty of healthy options here as well.  Also enjoyed their "health tea", which consisted of ginger, lemon, mint and cinnamon.  Very cleansing.  Would come here again for sure!
