I had a strange experience here. I walked in around 12 on a week day solo. I had a meeting in the area and was starving after. Walking in it appeared the place was empty. There is no counter so I asked for a table. I ordered the Nova Scotia eggs Benedict but asked if I could get some salad instead of potatoes. I never eat the potatoes. I was told it would be an extra charge. Ok who cares. food comes and here's what I get.
Luke warm poached eggs and Hollandase sauce. The salad lol….. The lettuce tomato and onion you get on the top of a burger. One giant piece of lettuce so silly.
Whatever I ate everything.
The Whitestone Diner is one of my favorite diners. Their pancakes, waffles, eggs, burgers, everything rocks here. I also love their coffee as well. It's hidden in Whitestone Queens, If you can find it, you'll love it. It's right off the cross Island down the block from Carvel. What a great little place.
