  1. I work down the street from them. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced. I especially enjoy the pad graprow with tofu, and they spice it nicely. I have eaten here, and the service is friendly. Be careful with takeout, as sometimes the containers are not sealed well and leak.

  2. Huge portions prepared well, but just about completely lacking in any flavor. I literally had to dump tons of soy sauce on it to just have some sort of taste.

  3. Wondee's is my favorite Thai spot in Bergen County. It's cheap with no frills compared to the other spots. The food is especially tasty. My go-to is the pad kee mao, extremely spicy. I like to tell them to make me regret my decision and they never fail to please. The Thai Iced Tea is good too, not too sweet.

Everything is hot and fresh. The decor could use work, and the staff could learn a bit more English, but it's definitely a good spot for a great meal.

  4. I've been eating at Wondee's restaurant for around 10 years.  This restaurant offers an excellent food quality to price ratio.

Expect large portions of quality Thai food at a fair price; no bells and whistles here. If you're looking for a high-end restaurant with a nice atmosphere for a date this is not the place.

What to eat:  I have tried several offerings from their menu, but I routinely find myself ordering the Chicken Maassamon curry with a nice Thai Iced Tea.

Now that expectations have been properly set, go plant yourself down in front of a heaping pile of Thai food and get your 'sweat on'!

  5. I have only ordered to go from here. However, the staff is friendly each time.

My mother is in love with their pho noodles here. I'm a big fan of their green curry and pad thai.

If you like Thai food, this is a great place to go and also, reasonably priced.

  6. Food poisoning, or something equally awful. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai about a month ago and I was wracked with serious stomach pain for about three days. The pain got so bad that I was bent over with these horrible cramps. Miserable doesnt even begin to describe how I felt. My skin also broke out in this weird rash. I have never in my life experienced anything like this and I have no known food allergies. It was horrible. And on top of it, the Pad Thai wasn't even that good.

  7. Not returning. Large potions that I had no desire to finish. Both the pad Thai and Thai fried rice were disappointing. Not worth the money. The pad Thai was congealed with little taste. Both the shrimp and tofu were overlooked – I'm not a fan of rubbery textured food. The fried rice had huge chunks of tomatoes – am I missing something? The thome yum koong soup was equally awful. Overdone chicken with canned mushrooms in a broth that is off and way too spicy (especially when I asked for it not to be.) Ordered to go – a shame it is barely edible since it's so convenient.

  8. I only had the seafood small soup$4.50 and cucumber thai salad for $4.  The seafood soup was honestly a really nice portion, it smelled like wet dog crap, but tasted pretty good. It had a mussle, two shimp, 3 bay scallops and a few pieces of imitation squid. Ick. But honestly it wasnt bad. The salad was plain and borring, the "dressing" was super sweet and watery and greasy.

Who the hell charges $2 for peanut satay sauce on the side? This place does, how terrible.
