  1. I went there for a quick lunch with my friend today. We both ordered No. 1– kimchi jigae. It was awesome– tofu and pork are both well cooked. Not too spicy but with enough kimchi! This place is quick, inexpensive and their food is of good quality.

  2. Excellent, fast, reliable, value-priced, delicious & good-portioned Korean food in the HMart Edison food court. It's the most popular for a reason. Opened 3 years ago & still consistent quality dishes. Its adjacent sibling is Wooram Chinese with a self-explanatory difference.

  3. Really not the best place. We ordered a bunch of stuffs from here including their kalbi, yookaejiang  (spicy beef soup) and their squid bibimbap. The best item is their squid bibimbap. It was flavor nicely and hot. But everything else was not good. The kalbi portion was big tho for the price

The kimchi they gave you on the side was bad too..my husband who is Korean always tells me you can tell how good a korean restaurant is just by if their kimchi is good

    Will not eat here again

  4. Mediocre Korean food. My soondubu was rather bland.
Kimbap was ok as well even though not the greatest.
This food court is convenient because it's inside the H-mart.

  5. I ordered No. 3 (soondubu with beef, pork, seafood) and found it to be 'okay', but not spectacular. The portions are perfect for lunch, both the soondubu itself and the rice, but I was pretty bummed to find that there was barely any beef, pork, or seafood mixed in. The pieces of beef and pork were way too small, almost as if once piece was finely minced. You can barely even taste them. The silky tofu was perfect, while the spicy broth was just right. My order came with a side of kimchi, which was alright.

I don't mind ordering from Wooram again, but I'll probably try the pajeon or one of their bibimbap next time.

  6. For some reason, I'm obsessed with the kimbap here. I get it every time I come back home on college breaks. The kimbap is about $5-6, which isn't too bad, considering it's a pretty substantial meal, with 10 pieces of kimbap, a soup and a salad. (EDIT: the kimbap is from Yimat House, the booth next to Wooram Korea.)

The other food at the station seem quite overpriced though. Every entree is about $9-10, and some are even $14-15 (the finer meat dishes). At a sit-down Korean restaurant these are normal prices, but this is a quick-and-simple food court inside H-mart.

It's usually a student or younger person working at the register, so don't worry if you can't speak Korean well. The food is made in the back. Usually it doesn't take more than 10 minutes to receive your dish. I definitely appreciate how efficient this as well as the other stands are.

Overall, 3-4 stars for it's food and prices, but I'm giving a solid 4 because I love the kimbap.

  7. I think this place was ok. I ordered soondubu (soft tofu stew), which is one of my favorite Korean dishes. It comes with rice and side dishes. In this case, kimchi. One of the things I look forward to in Korean restaurants is getting boat load of side dishes. But of course this is not a Korean restaurant therefore I'm asking for too much. But the kimchi was not great. I may not be Korean, but I know my kimchi! I ate so much kimchi in Korea (I've been there twice), I can tell when I'm eating good kimchi and not so great kimchi. Of course, this is not their fault. They have to make due with the ingredients they can find in US. The soondubu was lacking. Not much solid was in the stew. Solid, I mean the tofu and the meat.

All in all, reasonable price. Inexpensive way to get your Korean food fix.

  8. *Must Try: Seafood Pancake.
*If you think the seafood pancake is going to be an appetizer sized dish, you are wrong. It is the size of a small pizza pie, loaded with awesome goodies in between (read: squid), and probably my main reason to go to H-Mart.
