  1. Amazing location and very well decorated. The food was also very good as were the drinks. The staff was accommodating and very happen to answer any of our questions. Perhaps it was the time of day but our server seemed to be lacking some patients. I will give him a pass. If you are people watching or looking for a nice meal and a super hip area then check out this Mediterranean eatery!

  2. This place is so cool! An old garage indeed, with tons of antique framed art on the walls. Ambiance a perfect 10. The service is quick and pretty good. Omelette came out undercooked. Asked to send back and the waiter asked if we would like it 'more cooked'. Uhm, yes please 🙂 The dip platter is nummy – that and one other dish is all you need to share between 2!

  3. Service wasn't that great. The table next to us who kept ordering bottles of wine was clearly getting more attention for that reason. Our waiter didn't even bring our water until we asked twice. All my friends and I regretfully for the seared tuna. It tasted like fishy pork chop and tasteless

The decor is beautiful and drinks were good. But probably will not come here again.

  4. I absolutely loved the uniqueness of this place!

Before I proceed: why the 4/5? Absolutely freezing in the middle of winter! So cold!!

Ambiance: awesome! Live piano, brick walls, glass garage door, great chandelier and densely gathered tables giving a nice European vibe. And, the dishes are very authentic and representative of the Mediterranean cuisine.

The Halloumi Cheese Salad, Aegean Sarma and Calamari dishes are all must-tries! We absolutely loved them! For main courses: Spicy Beyti and Bar Steak dishes are great for main courses.

As far as desert goes, all were great options, paired with Turkish coffee! Great place to come with a large group, or a date

  5. Initially walked into this place looking for an iPhone 6 charger, luckily I was able to score one at the bar. I needed to charge my phone for a bit so my friend and I had a cocktail and shared an appetizer.

This place is super cute, very very adorable. I love the ambiance. It's perfect for date night. It is a little on the pricey side.

The bar itself had a few seats but there are several tables all around. The service was good, the bartender was friendly and welcoming.

Would I recommend this place? Sure! I always find Mediterranean food interesting.

  6. Turkish 'fusion'. Not very authentic, their tabouleh was just chopped up Kale, (something you would not find in Turkey for sure). A lot of their dishes just seemed confused. If it wasn't labelled a Turkish restaurant I would be okay with it, but half the dishes are not what they say they are.

  7. Small in size – great in lifestyle.

Embedded in an antique garage (true!) you get entertained by vry good food accompanied by life music.

The front of the "garage" is widely open to the floorwalk so you can sit 'inside-out'.

Visitors are mostly local young people who love individual style and good food in a non-crowded area.

A must-do if you are near by.

  8. Antique Garage reminds me of a bar/cafe that Hemingway would drink at in Paris (and I'm saying this as someone who has yet been to Paris). I love the gyspy den-esque feel but I don't like how snobbish I felt the menu was. Very few options for vegetarians that seem appealing. I supposed they aim for a specific crowd but I know a ton of writers who would love to come here for the scenery if it wasn't so expensive.
