BBQ Chicken & Beer

“The waffle fries are also very good but don't be surprised if you brush them aside in favor of getting more chicken, it's that good!”

“I've had most of the flavors, so here are some notes on these:

Teri Gold – 10/10 – Sauceless wings.”

“I also recommend you dare devils to try their Drumsticks of Fire, they're almost too spicy for me sometimes…”

  1. Solid wings + sauce selections! Personally underwhelmed by the olive oil frying, but with the wings, the sauce will be the primary flavor so it matters not!

Soju is affordable and a necessity to all your fried chicken dishes.

  2. Love, love, love this place! Totally hits the spot when you're in the mood for korean fried chicken… Teri gold wings are never a let down and the waffle fries are probably sprinkled with crack. Just can't get enough. Staff is friendly and attentive, so you're never waiting to be served!

  3. I honestly had high expectations as all the reviews here say otherwise– not to say the wings are bad but to me it's on a lower pedestal than the other conventional chicken spots such as Kyochon or Bonchon. I do however give them credit on having different options for wings such as the infamous terigold wings and bb wings.

They have limited selection of beer and drink options as well.

Worth a try but not really impressed by the service or the food.

  4. I'm usually not a huge fan of chicken spots because I'm not really into the whole beer and chicken scene. That said, I'm a big fan of this place.

The location is great- it's on a main street with ample parking (or residential parking a block away), but not so busy that you wouldn't want to go just to avoid the crowds. The space is great- even when packed it doesn't feel over-crowded because there's plenty of room inside.

The staff is very friendly, although the layout doesn't allow them to keep an eye on everyone. There are definitely times I wish I could flag down a server and they were in the other room.

The food and beer are delicious and cheap. This is pretty much all you need to know.

My favorite chicken is probably the garlic, because it's flavorful. The spiciest chicken is more of a shocking, burning hotness- where you don't really get much flavor. There's a spicy garlic that's nice and flavorful, but there's a strong kick after. To save myself from acid reflux and heartburn, I've decided I'll just have the garlic.

I want to say all the side dishes are great, but my favorite is probably the waffle fries. It goes great with the chicken, especially if you're having a spicier chicken.

This is such a simple place- quick, clean, delicious, and cheap. It's quickly turning into our Friday night spot.

  5. Big fan of this place and if you're ever in the mood for some deep fried chicken, this is the place to go to.  They have a few different types that range from regular, spicy (which has a nice kick) and garlic which is my favorite.  A number of other good side dishes as well like ddukkboki.

There's a number of TV's which makes it a great place to watch sports and the staff is very accommodating.  They changed the channel for us to watch a certain game and make sure we always had drinks and consistently checked in on us.  Highly recommend this place!

  6. Awesome establishment and best Korean fried chicken in the area in my opinion. That's quite a feat considering the number of competitions that are around (i.e. Dogo, Pelicana, Peck Peck, Boom Boom, Yam Yam, etc.). I have tried pretty much all of them and I would have to say that this place is still my go to joint.

Solid happy hour specials means great value for you and your buddies to share. Or you can chow down all by yourself when hunger strikes. Have done that once or twice…

I have hosted multiple large events here (i.e. 16~20+ people). The staff and management is great to work with and ensured everyone was satisfied.

If you ever want to order for large sporting events (ex. Super Bowl), make sure that you call the order in a couple of days before hand. They are legit, and they get busy. Don't be the one left hangry because you decide you want your wings last minute right before half time starts…

  7. I've been coming here for years and must say this place is great!

Waffle fries, yes please! Crispy chicken wings, yes please! BEER! YES, PLEASE!! Great atmosphere and service. You cannot go wrong with this spot. Service is always great, very attentive and friendly.

I usually only go for the wings, a great amount of choices, and I have never gone wrong with any of my choices.

If you are in area, highly recommend coming here for some grub and drinks.

I have not tried other Korean chicken and beer joints but this place lives up to its reviews.  I was first referred to this place by my buddy who lives in the area.

My friends came over from different states and we were all hungry late at night, so I thought I would give it a shot.

Friend chicken and the one with a sauce- for about $40 or so 4 people were a happy camper.  I would take BBQ Chicken and Beer over BBW's Asian Zing anyday!

Next time If I do get a chance, I want to have a seat and enjoy the atmosphere as well.

Kind of reminds of Baden Baden that has closed down.
