  1. I came here for bottomless brunch on a Saturday afternoon for one of my girlfriend's Bachelorette festivities! This is THE perfect place for big groups, bottomless mimosas and good vibes. We sat in the back patio area that happened to seat one another big group so it ended up being one big party! I would rate Tre 5/5 just for the patio and bottomless mimosa deal ($25 for mims + entree)…cant really beat that in ny! We were there for a good two hours and our service was attentive, leaving no time for an empty glass!! Such an awesome start to our celebration!!

The food was alright, but nothing special. Our table ordered most of the brunch food options listed: tre burger, frittata, pancakes, potato pancakes and chicken salad. Come here for the drinks/vibes not so much for the food. Food: 3 ambience/fun:  5

  2. Cute place for late morning brunches!!

Originally, my friends are I were supposed to go to Sweet Chick for Saturday brunch.  But that place was SO crowded that we decided to go to Tre instead.  It had just opened, and there was barely any people waiting.  Plus, the "$25 bottomless mimosas brunch" sign caught our attention.

The interior decor is adorable here-very modern and chic.  I especially love that they have an outside garden!  I wasn't able to get a chance to visit it outside, but definitely need to come for a second visit in order to check it out.  They also have strings of light bulbs outside, in the garden.

The $25 deal is great!  You can choose whatever brunch entree you want, and this comes with the endless champagne/mimosas!  I decided to get the pancakes, and they were amazing!  Chocolate and bananas brulee in champagne…it was like an amazing nutella banana pancake!!  The pancakes themselves were very fluffy too (texture-wise).  The mimosa was amazing!  Sweet and bubbly, with a slight honey aftertaste!  I had 4 full flutes, and my friends had so much more!  They are truly addicting!

I would love to come back and try the other menu options!  The burger and pasta seem like great options, and they're definitely on my list for next time!

Service is great and very attentive!  And the restaurant, itself, does get quite crowded within the first hour, so make sure to come early (like I did)!

  3. Deciding on a restaurant for NYE in the city of ten zillion options is no easy feat. It takes determination, review of numerous reviews, narrowing it down, and the finale: a reservation. We're talking about the last/first dining experience of the year here. It better meet expectations!

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at Tre. From food to quality of service, it was the most disappointing experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Appetizer of calamari was chili flavored tire rubber. Yum, my favorite! You better wear dentures for this. The entries (we had salmon and chicken whatever) were subpar and unseasoned- my dining companion didn't even finish hers.

We decided to avoid the prix-fixe, as we wanted to try things off the regular menu. That meant that around midnight, when the servers went around filling champagne flutes, we were left empty handed. In a restaurant where every patron (even those sitting at the bar not eating) is holding champagne and you are not, you feel like the customer service could be stepped up. Surely they had more for two more people? Why cheapen the experience?

Eventually we flagged our speed-walking server and asked if we could have champagne too. After a sigh and an eye roll she poured us some. Thanks for nothing, lady!

We made friends with the couple next to us, cheering each other after the countdown. That was the highlight of the whole night, Tre was the lowlight. Never again.

  4. BRUNCH BRUNCH BRUNCH BRUNCH
Okay their bottomless mimosa brunch left me DRUNK. These are STRONG mimosas, be warned (in a good way). We had a small wait to sit down but honestly it was nothing in comparison to a lot of NYC brunch places. The staff was super attentive re: said mimosas, and our food came out pretty quickly. Both my friend and I got the burger, which was really good. I think I should've ordered it medium rare though because I asked for medium and it was a little overdone. The side salad was good, but the FRIES were truly a thing of magic. I definitely want to come back and try the pancakes. Plus mimosas. Always mimosas.

  5. Reservations ahead of time are key with their champagne brunches. The staff was helpful over the phone with setting up my reservations for a large party. They were also flexible with seating us on the day of the event. Food was amazing and staff is attentive to your needs during your stay there. Will be back again!

  6. It's good!

Sometimes you have to step back and give your wallet a breather, especially in New York city.

I've been hitting the $100+ a person places since I landed at JFK five days ago. Even for lunch. I was eating and drinking real well. So, last night I had a group of eight put together and I was treating. The $100+ a person place was not going to fly on this evening.

Tre was the perfect choice, and ended up being a wonderful night that everyone enjoyed particularly me.

This wine bar, bistro, trattoria was the perfect place to throw a party.

The service was excellent, the food was not the star of the show but was in it's own right pretty damn good. The atmosphere was terrific and the noise level was such all eight of us could hear one another and just gabbed our hearts out.

We ate and drank very well and when the bill came, I was relieved. If this was at the place I ate the night before, the bill would have been double.

Thank you Tre for making this night memorable in every respect.

  7. I came to Tre for brunch on a Sunday. Of course, we opted for the $25 brunch and bottomless, because is there any other way to do brunch?

FOOD: I ordered the Tre Burger! It was a very solid burger. Nothing super special or out of the ordinary with the burger itself. It did come with a very nice salad and it is one of the few places with thinly cut fries. I think the sides were actually my favorite side of the burger.

DRINKS: With the brunch, it came with either mimosas or champagne. The service was great and it seemed like any time I made a tiny dent in my drink, the server refilled my glass. The mimosas were very strong and tasty and served in cute champagne glasses.

AMBIANCE: One of my favorite things about this place is the ambiance. The restaurant is very cozy with its brick and chalk board walls. There were nice fairy lights strung along the ceiling and definitely a cute place to go on a date or friends.

SERVICE: The service was honestly a tad on the slower side, but it was made up for in the servers' nice attitudes. We also did not make a reservation for brunch, but was seated very promptly. The place is a bit tiny, so get there early!

OVERALL: I would recommend this if you're in the area for a casual meal.

  8. I came here on a date for Valentine's Day, having never heard of this spot before. It's located in a hotel on Ludlow Street, a prime spot near the bar life. It's a nice, more upscale restaurant that keeps a casual feel without going all white linen and wine glasses. I like that, keeps the pressure away from buying more wine. They had a prix fix menu, where you pick 4 things off the menu for $55 a person. I decided on an Insalata Mediterranean, Zuppa di Pesce, and an Artichoke salad. My date got the Polpette, and two salad options. We got a bottle of Montepulciano, which is a beautiful wine region in Italy I visited two years ago. Everything was really good, the food was just the right amount, it didn't come on ridiculously large plates with small servings. The Zuppa was delicious- I can taste the seafood stew now. For dessert I had a slice of cake, which I shared with my date since we were already pretty full. The bill didn't even come out to that much- this is definitely a great spot where you can actually talk to someone and relax, without pushy people or too much volume.
